FrogWatch is a citizen science program that provides individuals, groups, and families with an opportunity to learn about wetlands in their communities and report data on the calls of local frogs and toads.

Become a FrogWatcher if you have:

• An interest in learning about frogs and toads.

• The commitment to learn and identify their distinct calls.

• The ability to make several evening visits (at least 30 minutes after sunset) to a local wetland for data collection from February through August.

As a citizen science program, FrogWatch USA offers the opportunity for long-term, large scale data collection on these important animals. Data have been collected since 1998 from every state in the United States.

You do not have to be a frog or toad expert to make an important contribution!
