In the summer of 2022, Faith McCarthy focused her research topic on a state rare plant that has been known to grow in the HaHa Mudflat portion of Otter Point Creek. With a large construction project proposed upstream, the goal of this study was to determine how robust of an ecosystem this mudflat truly is and what the impact of ongoing and future development will be to the sensitive species that live there.

Join us to learn more about this area and to see what Faith has discovered with her research.
