Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) is an essential part of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem and we need your help to monitor it! Through this program, we can learn about the species we have onsite, how much SAV is in our water, what benefits they have to our wetland, and more. This data will also be valuable in understanding the SAV presence in the Chesapeake Bay as a whole. **This event is rescheduled from May.**

Below is the layout for the training. Pre-registration is required.

1. If you did not participate in the online training in May, you will receive a recorded copy to review before the on the water portion.
2. Join us onsite for the on-the-water monitoring via canoe on Sat. June 29th from 12 pm to 2:30 pm.
3. Sign up for various dates throughout the summer to monitor on your own.
